FAQ: Q: Brazilian Zouk Lambada is a partner dance, can I come solo? A: Yes! classes will rotate so you will get to dance with new people. Ballet and Lambada are solo classes.
Q: What is the level of the classes? A: Classes with Mikael will be Open Level, Beginner Track classes will be geared toward new dancers!
Q: Will I need to dance the role traditionally assigned to my gender? A: Nope. You get to choose your lead/follow preference. In fact, we encourage students to learn their non-primary role at some point in their dance journey. Denver Zouk School is committed to creating a safe space for gender-queer and non-binary people to dance freely.
Q: What if I only dance Brazilian Zouk? A: In class, we will be dancing "on the quick" or "lambada timing". Since you know the basic patterns, you may decide to attend the beginner track classes as well--which are included in the Full Pass!

Class Lineup: 🕺 Shadow Boneca with Ry’el Level: Intermediate In this workshop, Ry’el will share playful variations on Shadow Bonecas, along with smooth entrances and exits you can easily incorporate into your dancing for added flow and style.

Refunds + Transfers
If you are no longer able to attend the event, you can transfer your ticket to another dancer. There is a $15 transfer fee. Venmo @DenverZouk $15, and include in the memo: First name, Last name, AND Email of the person you are transferring to. There are no refunds on tickets. Email denverzouk@gmail.com with any questions.
