Escape the everyday and step into The Back Room, an intimate, inclusive social space dedicated to movement, music, and self-expression.
Happening on the First Thursday of every month, we transform the back space of the weekly Brazilian Zouk social into a haven for dancers and movers of all styles and experience levels.
Time: 8:30 PM - 11:00pm (Dancing starts at 9 PM)
Dress: Wear comfortable clothing you can freely move in. This is a low-odor event so please avoid the use of scents besides deodorant.
Bonus Access: Your entrance to The Back Room also grants you access to the Zouk Social happening concurrently. (Note: The Zouk lesson held at 7pm is an extra cost.)

🎧 Open Floor Movement: Our DJ curates a dynamic, non-stop musical flow perfect for exploring your unique movement whether you prefer partnered, solo, fusion, or freestyle.
💃 Warm-Up Lesson (8:30PM): Kick off the night with a 30-minute lesson designed to get you warmed up, connected to the music, and ready to flow.
🫂 Inclusive Atmosphere: This is a space for everyone. Bring a friend or come solo. We encourage genuine connection, radical self-expression, and mutual respect.
🍎 Community Snack Potluck: Help fuel the flow! If you’re inspired, bring a small snack to share with your fellow movers.
Self-expression is the only requirement. Come as you are, dance as you feel, and discover what the music moves in you.
