Learn to analyze and execute more of your favorite advanced head movements. This class is designed to teach sophisticated skills in a way that feels approachable, easily comprehensible, and, most importantly, something you can embody and confidently use in social dance settings. We will cover essential concepts and principles such as frame, systemization of movements, weight shifting/association, pressure/comfort, common mistakes, problem solving and adaptability—all explored through your favorite pretzel-ey variations. 🥨

Initially influenced by Cuban Son and Mambo, Salsa evolved as Puerto Rican and Dominican communities in New York added their unique flavors to the dance. The term "Salsa" itself signifies a spicy blend of various musical and dance elements.
